Here are some of the products we have available;

The Normatec 2.0 is a pair of “legs” which fill with air and compress the leg or arm muscles in order. This process encourages blood flow into the limb, and helps flush out by-products such as lactic acid, which can build up whilst exercising. The treatment can take anywhere between 20 and 40 minutes, and can usually replace the need for an active cool down or stretching. Once the muscles have had time to recover, they are much more likely to be refreshed and ready for the next session, so the process, when used regularly, can allow more intense training, at a greater frequency, with less vulnerability to injury.

Massage guns have increased massively in popularity in recent months, and there is a huge influx of these on the market. The Hypervolt is viewed as one of the best available. It has a long battery life, is comfortable to use and hold, and the higher frequency vibrations mean it is more comfortable on the muscles too. It comes in the standard size, and a mini-version that can be used on the go. Massage guns cannot replace hands-on treatments in terms of efficacy, however they are rapidly replacing more traditional forms of self-recovery such as foam rolling. Used regularly they can assist recovery, muscle condition and reduce the risk of injury from over-training.

Recent research has shown that vibration can be especially effective in promoting muscle recovery from intense exercise. Foam rolling and using a trigger point ball is often viewed as uncomfortable and even painful, but is viewed as essential to muscle maintenance.
